Zachary Stephen Zemanek

Zachary Stephen Zemanek, age 43, of Mars, PA, formerly of North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, passed away unexpectedly at his residence.  Zac was born on August 23, 1981, in Steubenville, OH, beloved son to Sharon (Angelo) and Jerry Zemanek; loving brother to Adrienne (Frank) Caracciolo and Nicholas (Lora) Zemanek; cherished uncle to Owen, Nathan, and Aaron Caracciolo and Milena and Yuri Zemanek.  Zac also leaves behind his dog, Sunshine, his pride and joy.

Zac graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.  This led him to a career as an Investigator with the National Geospacial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).  Zac enjoyed talking politics and interacting with anyone, including his doctors and nurses.  Everyone always got a kick out of Zac and his sense of humor and, even on dire days, he managed to crack a joke or two to make everyone laugh.  His quick wit and sarcasm brought laughter to almost any situation.  Two of Zac’s favored interests were cars and traveling.  As a huge car lover, he knew everything about them.  When he was healthy, Zac enjoyed traveling and even went sky diving.  Most importantly, he was a wonderful uncle to his nephews and niece and received joy from hearing of their accomplishments.  Zac will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
