William H. Glas, Jr.

William H. Glas, Jr., age 93, passed peacefully on Monday, March 1, 2021.   A son of the late William H. Glas, Sr. and Estelle (Barnes) Glas; beloved husband of Lois A. (Custer) Glas; cherished father of Patricia (Michael) Mensinger, Susan (Timothy) McFarland, Barbara (Robert) Pellegrini, William (Diane) Glas , Judy Glas and Carol (John) Crunick; adored grandfather of Steven Mensinger, James Mensinger, William Pellegrini, Alyssa Pellegrini, Clayton Glas, Erin Glas, Andrew Glas, Jack Crunick and Olivia Crunick;  brother of Donald Glas, Richard (Sylvia) Glas, and the late Charles and wife, Mary Ann who survives.

William served his country during WWII in the US Army and then in the Air Force..  He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the 171st  Pennsylvania  Air National Guard as a Chief Resource Officer.  William was a member of Montours Presbyterian Church and of the  Doric Masonic Lodge #630 in Sewickley. He will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery of The Alleghenies with full military honors.
