Steven M. Slota

Steven M. Slota, age 55, of Moon Township, Pa., formerly of North Fayette Township, Oakdale, Pa., passed on Saturday evening, November 20, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. Steve was the son of the late Velma (Skarupa) and Steve Slota; brother of Lisa Tischuk and her husband James, of Beaver Falls, Jennifer Garrett and her husband Dr. Kevin, of Allison Park, and Paul Slota and his wife Leslee of New Brighton. Cherished uncle of Kevin, Kelly, Megan, Christina, Micayla, Haylee, and Julian. Steve is also survived by  two aunt and one uncle, and several cousins, friends, and work associates.

Steve was a West Allegheny High School graduate and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in criminology in December, 1988, from Indiana University of PA.

Steve had many interests and hobbies, but his main activities were bicycling and walking outdoors along the Pittsburgh Three Rivers.  He was a total sports enthusiast, especially all of the Pittsburgh sports teams.  He was also a fan of country music and enjoyed visiting Nashville, TN.

Steve was a very gentle man who was the eternal optimist.  His biggest qualities were his true love of family and his strong, unending faith.
