Robert J. Davis

Robert J. Davis,  age 95,  of Findlay Township, Imperial, Pa,  passed peacefully on Wednesday evening February 17, 2021, with his devoted wife  of 70 years by his side. Bob was born in Imperial on August 23,1925. A son of the late Mary (Nevergall) and John Davis; beloved husband of Alice (Pangersis) Davis; beloved father of Marianne (Randall) Reynolds, Terry (William) Peterson and Amy (Bucky) Savatt. Adored grandfather of 8; cherished great-grandfather of 8 and one on the way. Preceded in death by his siblings, Dorothy Wilmot, Marie Boling, Beatrice Miller, Jane Davis, George Davis, Charles Davis, and John Davis. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Robert, self-appointed Mayor of Enlow, will be remembered as growing the best sweet corn around. He enjoyed dancing, singing little ditties with his grandchildren, and entertaining with his storytelling at any gathering. Robert leaves his family with a strong work ethic, a "green thumb", and a love of colorful sayings. "God willin & the creek don't rise" (as Dad liked to say), he'll be entertaining us with stories again someday. Rest in peace, Bob.
