On Sunday, November 6, 2022, at age 86, Dick Otto went home to the Lord. Dick began his life in the South Hills of Pittsburgh being one of nine children by parents, the late Herman and Adelade Otto. He was a veteran of the US Army that served time in Korea during the late 50’s. Most of his life he worked as a pipe fitter with Asbestos Pipe Fitters Local No. 2. In 1958, he met and married his beautiful wife, the late Sylvia C. Arrigo, who passed on October 25, 2015, and would have four children together, Genia (Edward} Fabis, Richard “Rick” Otto, the late John “Johnny” Otto who passed on May 5, 2018, and Paula (John) Hazel. He also left behind four grandchildren, Amanda, Travis, Kassidy, and Julia and one great-grandson, Julian. Dick was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed watching hometown teams. His leisure time was spent playing golf with his twin brother, the late Bob and other relatives. For all who intimately knew him, he was a devoted born-again Christian who found any opportunity to witness to others the teachings of the Bible.
