Paul G. Tomko

Paul G. Tomko, age 85, of Findlay Township, Clinton, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Paul was born in McKees Rocks, PA, on August 4, 1940, son to the late Mary (Simko) and George Tomko; devoted husband of 57 years to the late Nancy M. Tomko who passed on October 6, 2024; beloved father to Tina Metalik and her husband, Drake, and the late Margaret “Margie” Popp who passed on October 9, 2013; cherished grandfather to Sean Popp, Crystal Metalik, Justin Metalik, and the late Ashley Tomko who passed on August 21, 1999; adored great-grandfather to Braxton and Ilana Kubacki; brother to Ronald (Sandy) Tomko.

Paul was employed as a steel mill worker for J&L Steel in Aliquippa, PA, for over 19 years. Afterward, he worked for Jones Air Conditioning and Heating for several years before he retired from Green’s Taxi Service in McDonald, PA.

Paul enjoyed bowling on three different leagues at Sheffield Lanes trying to break the 7/10 split that his teammates always joked about with him. In his spare time, he enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, and doing laps in his swimming pool. Paul also helped plow snow from the neighbors’ driveways during the winter months. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They always put a smile on his face. Paul was a member of Saint Isidore the Farmer Parish where he assisted with collections during mass.

Family to receive friends on Monday, March 9, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, (724) 695-7332, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at St. Columbkille R. C. Church of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will follow the mass. Rest in peace, Paul.
