Nona R. Stein

Nona Rae Stein, age 70, of North Fayette Township, Coraopolis, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, December 14, 2024.  Nona was born on May 25, 1954, in McKees Rocks, one of twin daughters to the late Sarah E. “Betty” (Medved) and Raymond J. Stein; sister to her twin, Sharon Stein, and brother, Larry (Karen) Stein; aunt to Jon Stein (Natalie Thompson) and Christopher (Amy) Stein; great aunt to Easton William Stein and McKenna Beth Stein; niece to Joseph and Violet Stein and Dorothy Medved Vertrees; cousin to many.  Nona also leaves behind her beloved Bucco sisters and brothers.  Along with her parents, Nona is preceded in death by her stepmothers, Mary Stein and Agnes Stein, numerous aunts and uncles, and her best furry friend, Riley.

Nona was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan of the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers.  Also, for more than 30 years, Nona played softball, and, in her words, “I had a great time.  Everyone just remember the fun times, and love to all.”  Rest in peace, Nona.
