Nelda J. Bray

Nelda Jean Bray, age 95, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, May 9, 2026.  Nelda was born in Enlow, Findlay Township, on May 24, 1930, daughter to the late Catherine (Baker) and George Dewey Bray and sister to the late Gladys (Gordon) Shook.  Nelda is survived by her nephews, Leslie (Elizabeth) Shook and Randall (Robin) Shook; grandniece and grandnephews, Courtney (Dante) Guerrieri, Jarrett (Christina) Shook, and Sean (Kate) Denham; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, Luca and Cristian Guerrieri, William, Olivia, and Matthew Shook, and Eva Denham.

Nelda was loved and cared for by her family and will be dearly missed.  Rest in peace, Nelda.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, (724) 695-7332, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to the time of Committal at Valley Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
