Michelle "Missy" Maria (Miller) Stierheim

Michelle “Missy” Stierheim, age 42, of Hankey Farms, Oakdale, PA, passed on October 13, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. A daughter of William and Theresa (Riddle) Miller; beloved wife of 21 years to Chuck Stierheim; adored mother of Alicia and Brooke; sister of William (Stella) Miller, Angela (Eric) Yoder, Suzanna (Brian) Bell, Cheri (James) Mikoloski, John (Valerie) Miller, Jeremy Miller, Charlene (Frank) Deluca, Caroline (Bartholomew “B.J.”) Kulus, George Miller, Justin (Kelli) Miller, and Jason Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

Michelle was a strong, selfless woman who never complained and took challenges in life head on. She loved traveling with her family and, together, they visited 45 states and 5 provinces.

She enjoyed various music and attended many concerts including her favorite artists Pink, Lizzo and Metallica. Gardening, fishing, camping and hiking were her favorite hobbies, but her real passion was helping raise children. She spent 12 years babysitting Joss, Shane, Phil, Miles, Cameron and Blase. Her proudest achievements were running the household, being a devoted wife and raising two smart, strong, beautiful girls.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 2-6 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at the HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332.

It is respectfully requested memorial donations in Missy’s name be sent to the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
