Michaeline “Mickey” Chiesa, age 82, of Findlay Township, Coraopolis, PA, passed away at her residence on Thursday morning, May 1, 2025. Mickey was born on August 30, 1942, in Natrona, PA, daughter to the late Ottilia “Tillie” (Bednarik) and Michael Starczewski; devoted wife to the late Allegro “Al” Chiesa, her long ago lost husband. She is survived by her two children, Beth Chiesa Griffith and Matthew Chiesa; two grandchildren, Miranda and Cameron Griffith; sister, Patricia “Patty” (Clarence) Bolewitz; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Along with her parents and husband, Mickey is preceded in death by her sister, Marianne “Ducky” (Robert) Posney, and many loving family members and friends.
Mickey was a registered nurse for 44 years, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She loved nature, animals, history, and a good Manhattan, straight up. Mickey will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family to receive friends for a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, May 8, 2025, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille R. C. Church followed by inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery.
