Mary Louise (Himich) Glovier

Mary Louise Glovier, age 87, of North Fayette Township, Oakdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 6, 2023.  Mary Lou was the devoted wife of 57 years to the late Richard Glovier who passed away on September 9, 2013; beloved mother to Donna Faux and husband, Dan, Douglas Glovier, and the late Linda Volle; cherished grandmother to Louis (Katie) Volle, Dana (Greg) Stolar, and Derek Faux; adored great-grandmother to Kaleb, Paige, and Jack Volle, and Riley Stolar; numerous loving nieces and nephews.  Mary Lou was the youngest and last to survive of her siblings, the late Margaret Mathews, Michael Himich, Edward Himich, and Stephen Himich.  Family to receive close friends at the HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Rd., North Fayette Twp., Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332, on Thursday, August 10, 2023, between the hours of 2-5 pm, followed by a blessing service at 5 pm.  Interment to be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  It is respectfully requested memorial donations be sent to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, P. O. Box 5014, Hagerstown, MD 21741.  Rest in peace, Mary Lou.
