Mark Litteral Obituary

Mark Randall Litteral, age 62, of Findlay Township, Clinton, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Caring Heights Community Care and Rehabilitation Center in Coraopolis.  Mark was born on May 10, 1963, in Dayton, OH, son to the late Sadra Irene (Rice) and Chester “Chet” Forrest Litteral.  He was the devoted husband of 28 years to the late Christine Ann (Knapp) Litteral who passed on March 11, 2020.  Mark is survived by his son, Chet Edward Litteral and his wife, Abigail “Abbey” Page (Spring) Litteral, and sister-in-law Kathleen “KC” Carter.  In addition to his parents and wife, Mark is preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Vaughn Litteral.

Mark later moved to Clinton, PA, where he built a life centered around family, friendship, and community.  He shared his home and heart with his late wife, Christine, and their son, Chet, creating a warm and welcoming household filled with laughter, good food, and love.

For more than 20 years, Mark worked for FedEx where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.  Outside of work, one of Mark’s greatest joys was caring for others, most often through food.  He loved cooking for his friends and family, known for his homemade soups, jerky, chex mix, and fresh garden salsa.  Alongside Christine and Chet, Mark proudly tended to their family garden and shared the harvest with anyone who stopped by.

Mark also had a lifelong passion for amateur or “ham” radio, an interest he pursued beginning in the late 1970’s and continuing to the end.  He made many genuine connections and lifelong friendships through the conversations he had on the network 73-W3WLW.

To keep Mark’s memory in our hearts, family and friends are welcome for a Celebration of Life that will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Findlay Township Activity Center, lower level, 310 Main Street, Imperial, PA, 15126.  Lunch and refreshments will be served.  In honor of Mark’s love for cooking and sharing meals, all are welcome to bring a favorite dish to share, if so desired.  Mark’s final resting place will be at St. Columbkille Cemetery for a private burial that will take place at a later date.  Mark will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.  Rest in peace, Mark.
