Mark K. Boring, age 70, of Findlay Township, Clinton, PA, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025, in his favorite recliner, in his favorite room, peacefully. Mark was born on July 24, 1955, in Johnstown, PA, son to the late Jane (Wainwright) Boring and Bruce Boring, who survives. Mark is also survived by his wife of 48 years, Vicki Boring; sons, Eric, Kenny (Karianne), and Kirk (Bethany); grandchildren, Avery, Brady, Alex, Bennet, Olive, Blaire, Finley, and Josie; siblings, Alan (Pam) Boring, Kristina (Mike) Curtis, and the late Kathy Keyser; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark served in the United States Air Force for 26 years in the Security Forces Squadron. After retiring, he worked for Baker Hughes in the Safety Division.
Mark spent a lot of time at his pool bar, a labor of love he was constantly fixing, tweaking, and perfecting. It became the heartbeat of family and friend gatherings. There, he mixed up his famous “fru fru” drinks, colorful, fun creations that always brought smiles and became a trademark of his hospitality. He loved nothing more than watching his family enjoy those afternoons, knowing he had helped create the memories unfolding in front of him.
Among Mark’s greatest joys were his grandchildren. He took tremendous pride in watching them grow. Whether they were out on the field, playing wiffle ball in his yard, or trying something new, he was always their biggest cheerleader. Mark loved attending their games, celebrating their wins, and encouraging them through every challenge. No matter what they did, he was there - smiling, supporting, and cheering them on with all his heart.
