Lisa was a woman of many talents. She was a nurse at UPMC Presbyterian, earning a bachelor’s degree from Carlow College. She then later attended night classes at the University of Pittsburgh, earning credits to get her master’s degree and becoming a Critical Care Registered Nurse. Lisa’s hobbies included designing and decorating, and this was more than evident in the pride she took in her home which she researched, designed, and often took place in rebuilding. She took that same pride in her yard, researching the plant life that would be most sustainable in the Pennsylvania climate. Each year, Lisa planted one hundred daffodils on the back grounds. She loved drinking her tea and enjoying them as they all bloomed in mid-April. Lisa’s other love was her pets. During her time in North Fayette, she adopted and trained seven dogs and rescued four cats. Lisa’s pets were her pride and joy.
Lisa was always known as the quiet one in the room, but her sense of humor and wit were often unmatched. Her selflessness, kindness, and joy for life and helping those who needed it most was her greatest attribute. Lisa was loved by many, and she will be deeply missed.
