Kimberly Ann Rieser

Kimberly Ann Rieser, age 62, of North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, passed on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Kim had battled many illnesses over the last five years as she was a fighter but passed peacefully with her family by her side. Kim was preceded in death by her father, Marcel Rieser, and mother, Shirley Mae Fortunato; beloved mother of Jason Gregory and Shannon (Michael) Wait; blessed and cherished grandmother of Mickaela, Chelsea, Dylan, and Amelia.She leaves behind her siblings; Cynthia (Mike) Ireland, Steven (Robin) Rieser, and Richard (Keiko) Rieser.  Kim’s greatest accomplishments in life were her children and often said it was the one thing she knew she got right in her life. Blessed with a kind heart and unconditional love for her children and the children of friends and family, she prioritized their happiness over everything. She focused on sparking creativity and imagination in these young children by creating adventures. Some of her favorites include Florida beach trips, swimming with dolphins, dog sledding in Colorado, skiing at resorts, roller skating at Neville Island, bike rides, and Kennywood trips in the summer. All these experiences brought a great deal of joy to Kim’s life. She was an avid lover of puzzles, K-Love radio, hot tea, and watching movies. One of her quirks was her night owl tendencies as she loved to clean and organize in the middle of the night. As the years went on, Kim found much happiness in spending time with her grandchildren, grateful for this opportunity in life.  There will be a private celebration of life for immediate family members only.
