Julia A. “Jay” Bartos, age 100, of Findlay Township, Imperial, PA, passed on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Devoted wife of 62 years to the late Jacob J. “Jake” Bartos Jr. who passed on March 19, 2004. Daughter of the late Samuel and Anna (Lytynska) Petock. Beloved mother of Jacob (the late Carolyn) Bartos III and the late Marlin Bartos who passed on July 19, 2019. Sister of the late Mary Byers, Harry Petock Jr., and Joseph Petak. Cherished grandmother of Jacob (Julie) Bartos, Tim (Rona) Bartos, Marlin (Kathy) Bartos, Mark (Theresa) Bartos, Alan Bartos, and Michael Bartos. Adored great-grandmother of Jordan, Ian, Lauren, and Ryan. Julia retired from Gladieux Food Service as Beverage Manager. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille Church. Julia was blessed to live 100 years and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Julia. Family to receive friends at the HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Rd., North Fayette Twp., Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332 on Thursday, February 23, 2023 between the hours of 12-2 pm followed by Blessing Service at 2 pm. Burial to follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Imperial, PA. It is respectfully requested memorial donations be sent to St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille Church, 103 Church Rd., Imperial, PA 15126.
