On Monday, September 2, 2024, Judith W. Trautman, age 65, of Findlay Township passed away peacefully at home and was surrounded by her family. Heaven gained a beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman. Judy was born in Painesville, Ohio, on February 8, 1959, and was the daughter of Robert F. and Dolores A. (Kelley) Winkler; married to the love of her life, Grant D. Trautman; a devoted and loving mother of Cole G. Trautman (Shelby Bianco) and Wayne R. Trautman; Judy was the oldest of her siblings: Monica M. Winkler Myers (Jim), Robert J. Winkler (Lisa), and John W. Winkler (Kim). She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents John L. and Marie E. Winkler and Anna Marie and William M. Kelley.
Growing up, Judy enjoyed riding horses with her siblings and won many events at horse shows as a member of the 4-H Club Wandering Riders. In her 20’s, she attended college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Memphis State University. In her early 30’s, she met Grant, married, and started a family. While raising her sons, she went back to Baruch College for International Business/Trade/Commerce and became a U.S. Licensed Customs Broker. She loved her jobs at Deluxe and LANXESS. Judy enjoyed antiquing, boating – especially at Tygart Lake, camping, riding quads & side-by-sides, snow skiing, family picnics and outings, festivals, and spending time with family and friends.
She was always a positive, loving, and caring person. We were all blessed to be graced with her presence, friendship, love, and strength which she generously shared with others. Judy will always be greatly loved and missed. May she rest in peace and forever remain in our memories and hearts.
