Joe "Sarge", age 90, of Findlay Township, Clinton, PA, passed peacefully at his residence on Monday morning, August 8, 2022. A son of the late Michael and Nora (Bianchini) Collins; beloved husband of the late Giovanna "Jenny" (DiNello) Collins; devoted father of Michael (Patricia) Collins and John (Melissa) Collins; adored grandfather of Amanda, Adelle, Jessica, and Marissa; brother of Amy (David) Butler, Janet (Robert) Schmac, and the late Katherine "Jean" Esno and Edward Collins.
Joe graduated from Burgettstown High School. He then proudly served his country in the US Army, tank division, as a sergeant during the Korean Conflict. He retired from TWA as a mechanic and ramp service. Joe spent many hours on the family farm and quickly became known as "Mr. Fixit". But mostly he loved being with his family and visiting friends and neighbors. He also loved tending his garden alongside his groundhog friends! He always found time to eat at his favorite restaurant Chick-fil-A.
Say hello to Jenny.
Rest in Peace, Sarge!
