John J. Dillon

John J. Dillon, age 85, of Glen Gormley, Oakdale, Pa., passed on Saturday, November 13, 2021, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born on June 17, 1936, in Braddock, Pa.  A son of the late Mary and Patrick Dillon. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Margaret (Dougan) Dillon who passed on August 18, 2021. Beloved father of James Dillon, Marion (Lanny) McKeegan and the late Gary Dillon. Devoted grandfather of Andrew Dillon, Aileen McKeegan and Jonathan McKeegan. Adored great-grandfather of Ava Dillon. Brother of the late Anna Rohall and Mary Margaret Getsie. John was a member of St. Columbkille R.C. Church.  He retired from US Airways as a lead mechanic after 39 years of service and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. John enjoyed flying, especially to Las Vegas, where he enjoyed gambling, playing poker, playing the lottery where he would bet on triple 777's, going to the Meadows or his daily loop checking on all his family. Rest in peace, John.
