Jennie (Potocnik) Lombardo

      Jennie Lombardo, age 100, of Bridgeville, PA, formerly of Imperial, PA, passed peacefully on Wednesday evening, October 6, 2021.  A daughter of the late John and Mary (Kos) Potocnik; beloved wife of the late Raymond Lombardo, who passed on May 18, 2008; cherished mother of Nancy (Rob) Hughes, and the late John (Barb) Lombardo, Raymond “Sonny” Lombardo, Jr.,, and Jennie Lombardo; loving grandmother of Christine (Joe) Kline, Amanda Lombardo, and Crystal (Chris) Sandell; adored great-grandmother of Shiley and Clayton; sister of the late Frances Grago (her twin), Helen Penar, Mary Roman, Julie Derosky, Joe, John, and Frank Potocnik; also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Jennie, along with her husband, operated the former Lombardo's Market on Route 30 in Imperial, which closed in 1994 after 36 years in operation.  Upon closing the store, she and her husband were employed at the Shop & Save in Imperial and always had a pleasant smile for everyone.

She especially enjoyed being with her family.  Rest in Peace, Jennie.
