Janice E. (Zeigler) Kress

Jan, age 82, was born to Charles Preston and Myrtle Evaline (Jamison) Zeigler in Oakdale, PA.  Jan married Robert M. Kress on July 24, 1959.  They recently celebrate 62 years of marriage.  Together they raised their three children, Rachelle (Steve) Kulback, Pamela (Mark) Perry, and Robert "Bob" (Barb) Kress; Jan is the adored  grandmother of Nick (Ashlee), Abby (Mike), Brent, Jocelyn, Ali, Loren, Bobby, and Maci; and beloved great-grandmother of Olivia, Haylee and Madelyn; Jan took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and loved hearing the details of their lives.

Jan is the sister of the late Charles Zeigler, Thelma Cross, Jean Speranza, William Zeigler, Harold Zeigler, and Albert Zeigler.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Jan enjoyed making  her home where she and her husband, Bob, raised their three children.  Jan enjoyed making her home hospitable and inviting and never let anyone leave without a full stomach.  Jan's special joy was to make her home festive for every holiday, especially Christmas when decorations overflowed every surface. Jan never met a piece of candy she didn't like, chocolate covered cherries and orange slices were special favorites.

Jan will be greatly missed.  Rest in Peace.
