Jane L. (Wonder) Hockensmith

Jane L. Hockensmith, age 67, of Johnstown, PA, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, after an 8-year battle with Aplastic Anemia.  Jane was a 1976 graduate of Ferndale High in Johnstown, PA.  She worked as a CNA at Arbutus Park Manor and Laurel View Village for many years.  Jane is survived by her children, stepson Brian (Diane) Hockensmith, Matthew Hockensmith, Jenna (Matthew) Kuhns, and Michael (Chelsey) Hockensmith; beautiful grandchildren, Evan, Cecelia, Cienna, and Matt; siblings, MaryAnn Todorich and Robert (Vicki) Wonder; nephew, Lucas Wonder; niece, Opal Peterson; close friend, Judy Mills.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Garnet (Shaffer) and Robert Wonder, husband, John B. Hockensmith, daughter, Melanie Jayne, and nephew, David Todorich.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m., at Ferndale Community Church in Johnstown, PA.  Rest in peace, Jane.
