James F. King

James F. King, age 85, of Independence Township, Clinton, PA, passed at his residence on Friday, April 21, 2023.  He was born on December 9, 1937, in Ashtabula, OH, son of the late Susan Valent.  Beloved husband of Clare King and the late Millie King who passed in 1975; cherished father of James King, and the late Eric King and Amy Moore.  Jim served his country in the U.S. Army later retiring from Local 833 Laborers Union where he worked heavy construction.  He enjoyed his time at the Five Points Hunting Club.  Jim also spent time outdoors where he loved to fish.  Family to receive friends at the HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Rd., North Fayette Twp., Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332 on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, between the hours of 4-8 pm where a blessing service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 10 am followed by interment at St. Columbkille Cemetery.  It is respectfully requested memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Rest in peace, Jim.
