Jim “DeeDee” “Hollywood” Kelleher, born on March 22, 1943, in New York City passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024, in his home in Carnegie, PA, at the age of 81. Jim is survived by his three loving children: Dolores Hodder and her husband Troy, Karen Hines and her husband Randy, and James Kelleher and his husband Vic Pizzitola. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Michael Slawinski Jr. and his wife Kate, Shaun Simons and his wife Megan, RJ Hines, Alina Hodder, Daxton, Zeven, and Ellison-Pizzitola-Kelleher, and three great-grandchildren: Cormac Simons, Jett Slawinski, and Brooklyn Hines.

Jim was a man of few words but a heart full of love for his family. He spent the majority of his life in Willingboro, NJ. His life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to his work, having diligently worked up to the age of 78. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including his love for movies of all sorts, bowling, and all things peanut butter. Jim’s quiet strength made him an inspiration.

He was a devoted husband of 62 years to his beloved wife, Diane Kelleher who predeceased him on August 22, 2023.

In addition to his love for his family, Jim was a member of the local bowling league. His enthusiasm for movies brought countless hours of joy, and he was known for his extensive collection and knowledge of films.

Jim’s love for peanut butter was legendary among his family. It was a small but cherished quirk that brought a smile to those who knew him well.

Throughout his life, Jim demonstrated an incredible work ethic and a dedication to providing for his family.

Jim leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, hard work and a quiet strength that touched all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Rest in peace, Jim.
