George F. Snyder

Age 92, of Wyomissing, PA (formerly of Bridgeville, PA), passed peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Dolores “Dee” Snyder who passed on October 1, 2017; beloved father of Karen Fortney (James), Paul Snyder (Debra), Thomas Snyder (Nancy), Larry Snyder and Patricia Snyder; grandfather of Traci Fortney, Christopher Snyder, Michael Snyder, Daniel Snyder (Sarah), and Stephanie Shaffer (Josh); cherished great grandfather of Sophia, Oliver, Etan, and Isaac Shaffer, Charlotte and Benjamin Snyder; Brother of the late Paul Snyder, Irene Cline, and Sharon (John) Bloodgood. George was a U.S. Army Korean war veteran.  He was a former member of St. Columbkille Holy Name Society; Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph the Worker Council 5947, Hopewell.
