George R. Mehalic, Sr

George R. Mehalic Sr., age 89, of Clinton, PA, Hanover Township, Beaver County, passed peacefully on Friday evening, November 11, 2022, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years Katherine who passed on July 27, 2021, and an infant daughter Karen Ann.  George is survived by sons George Mehalic Jr., Richard (Nancy) Mehalic, and Michael Mehalic, and daughters Kathleen (Larry) Goughnour, Veronica Mehalic (Jeff Ellis), Cheryl Battles, and Mary Joyce (Adam) McCartney; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. George was a member of St. Columbkille R.C. Church where he was an usher at the 9:00 AM mass and a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed many sports during his lifetime, especially golf and bowling in several leagues.
