Frank Patrick Geramita

With heavy hearts, the family of Frank Patrick Geramita, age 75, of North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, would like to make known he passed on Saturday morning, September 3, 2022, with loved ones by his side at the VA Hospital Oakland, Pittsburgh, PA.  A son of the late Charles and Dorothy (Baxter) Geramita; beloved husband of 45 years to Denise (Sabaton) Geramita; adored father of Shana (John) Van Benschoten, Gina (Matt) Morris, and Jamie Geramita; cherished grandfather of Wesley Van Benschoten, Louise Van Benschoten, Maddox Morris, and Ethan Morris; brother of Steven Geramita; uncle of Charles Geramita.

Over the past year, Frank wished to keep his diagnosis with leukemia private as he fought for more precious time and memories with his family until the good Lord called him home.

In his own reflection of his life, he felt God had blessed him with more than he could have asked for.  He was grateful for "a good life lived".  His wishes were to not have a viewing or funeral service.

Frank proudly served in the US Marines during the Viet Nam War.  He retired from Peoples Natural Gas Company.

We are thankful for the love, support and prayers now and over the past year.  A special thanks to the VA and their exceptional care.
