Frances J. "Fran" (Kukla) Berdis

Frances J. “Fran” Berdis, age 85, of Moon Township, PA, formerly of Carnegie, PA, passed away at St. Clair Hospital on Thursday, June 6, 2024.  Fran was born on May 26, 1939, in Braddock, PA, daughter to the late Frank P. and Clara J. (Jozwiak) Kukla.  She was the devoted wife of 51 years to the late Gaylord J. “Joe” Berdis; loving mother to Catherine Cuda and her husband, Greg, and Joseph Berdis and his wife, Camille; cherished grandmother to Nicole (Jeff) Krivickas, Ashley Cuda (Jimmy Breslin), and Gabriella Cammarano; sister to Thomas (Betty) Kukla, Paul (Donna) Kukla, and the late Catherine Kukla.  Fran was employed with Household Finance where she retired from her position as secretary/administrative assistant.  She was a loving and caring person who was always willing to help and take care of others.  Rest in peace, Fran.

Family to receive friends on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, between the hours of 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332, where a blessing service will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 11:00 am, followed by burial at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where Fran will be laid to rest with her husband, Joe.
