Eva E. “Betty/Gram BB” Baker, age 90, of Findlay Township, Coraopolis, PA, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Betty was born in McKees Rocks, PA, on September 28, 1933, daughter to the late Minnie (Seabright) and William Berthold; devoted wife to the late James E. Baker who passed on January 15, 2011; beloved mother to Diane (Marty) Nalitz, William “Rich” (Barb) Lutz, Mark (Becky) Lutz, Tammy (Mark) Stefanski, Tim (Maryellen) Baker, and Tracey Baker-Serba; cherished Gram BB to eight grandchildren; adored Great Gram BB to seven great-grandchildren; sister to the late Dorothy Toward, Fred Berthold, and Bill Berthold; also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Betty liked playing Bingo and enjoyed many trips to the Casino at The Meadows. Her last memorable visit to the Casino was on her birthday in September of 2023. Betty’s greatest joy, however, was spending time with her loving family and many loyal friends. Rest in peace, Betty.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Clinton Wesleyan Church, Clinton, PA, followed by inurnment at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
