Emma (Pogan) Maslanik

Emma Maslanik, age 97, of North Fayette Township, Oakdale, Pa., passed peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021. A daughter of the late Mary (Prevanje) and Andrew Pogan; beloved wife of the late John Maslanik who passed on May 28,1991; devoted mother of John (Mary) Maslanik, James (Miriam) Maslanik, and Bonnie (Rich) DeBiasio; cherished grandmother of Michael (Samantha) Maslanik, Daniel (Samantha) Maslanik, Lauren (Rob) Weber, Emily DeBiasio (Peter DiCocco, Fiance')   and Katie DeBiasio; adored great-grandmother of Lisa, Fiona, Veronica and Kira. Emma is preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Nellie Maslanik, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Emma loved her family.  She was a sweet, kind and loving soul who will be missed but forever remembered.  She was a life-long member of St. Columbkille R.C. Church and a member of SNPJ Lodge #106 in Imperial, as well as The Cliff Mine Ladies Club.

Emma also had a great love for birds and all of nature.
