Elizabeth Poznak, of Imperial, PA, at the blessed age of 101, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026.  Elizabeth was born in Tyre, PA, on March 16, 1924, daughter to the late Mary (Turchanik) and Michael Payda; loving wife of 56 years to the late Victor Poznak who passed on November 20, 2007; beloved mother to Barbara (Richard) Lutz, Loretta (Russell) Keller, Christopher (Rosemary) Poznak, and Macrina (the late Alwyne) Holder; cherished grandmother to Daniel Lutz, Rachael (Mario) Sauro, Brandi (Jeremy) Lucovich, Anna (Daniel) Colbert, and Alwyne Holder; adored great-grandmother to Eliza Ference, Grace Ference, Macey Lucovich, Reese Lucovich, Cash Lucovich, Charlotte Lucovich, Cecilia Colbert, and Freddie Colbert; sister to the late Anna Pyda, Mary Pyda, Helen Petak, Peter Pyda, Michael Pyda, and George Pyda.

Family to receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026, between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, (724) 695-7332, followed by a Parastas Service at 7:00 p.m.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church in McKees Rocks, PA, followed by Burial at Resurrection Cemetery.  Rest in peace, Elizabeth.
