Eleanor M. (Dragnett) DeSantis
Age 95, of N. Fayette Twp., Imperial, PA passed peacefully at her residence on Thursday evening, September 3, 2020. Daughter of the the late Fabian and Barbara Dragnett, beloved wife of the late Julius DeSantis; beloved mother of Gary (Mary) DeSantis, Carl DeSantis and Concetta (Ben) Barrett and a daughter-in-law, Terra DeSantis; cherished Nona of Tiffany (Alan) DeGennaro, Vincent (Chelsea Gibson) Barrett, Deidre DeSantis, Erika DeSantis, and Carl "CJ" DeSantis Jr., adored great-grandmother of Julian DeGennaro; preceded in death by five sisters, Pauline Banovich, Mary Krynak, Anna Pershina, Rose Smitsky, Anna Evanitz, and two brothers, John and Anthony Dragnett. Also, survived by sister-in-law Marie (Ed) Schreiber and many nieces and nephews. She was a devoted Mother, Nona, and Aunt who opened her heart and home to everyone. She was the Tax Collector of North Fayette Twp, Member of the SNPJ Lodge 106, and lifetime member of St Columbkille Catholic Church. She loved to garden, cook, bake, enjoyed the casino, and was the best babysitter. You could count on her being in the stands for everyone's school sporting event. Her laugh was contagious, and she could lift your spirits on a bad day. You could always count on a delicious spaghetti dinner if you stopped in on a Sunday. She will be sadly missed by all.
