Edward Sauers

Edward Sauers, age 78, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021.  Ed was born in Monaca, PA, to the late Samuel Sauers and Anna Mae (Pirrung) Sauers who recently passed away on July 21, 2021.  He is survived by two daughters, Samantha (Christopher) Temple of Saegertown and Marsha (David) Atkinson of Meadville; three grandchildren - Shelly (Nelson) Cadle, David Atkinson and Raven Temple; two sisters - Vivian Sparbanie of Carnegie and Lorraine (the late Danny) Burns of Imperial; and a brother, Raymond Sauers of Dearborn, MI.  Ed was preceded in death by his father, Samuel, and a brother, David Sauers who passed on February 1, 2021.

In 1970 Ed became employed by Labors International Union of North America-Local #833.  He also owned the "Wild Country Dance Hall" in Saegertown from 1999-2018.   Ed honorably served his country in the US Army from 1961-1963 where he was stationed in Korea.
