Age 81, a life-long resident of Tyre (Santiago) PA, passed on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice after a short acute illness. Edward (Max) was the beloved husband (58 years) of the late Mary Jo Ceyrolles who passed on September 18, 2020; cherished father of Janet (Maximovich) Rosasco of Overland Park, KS, Lisa Maximovich of Imperial, PA, and Carrie Beiber of Pleasant Garden, NC; loving grandfather of Christina Rosasco, Alishia Beiber and Katherine (Katie) Rosasco; brother of Maxine Ahern and the late Shirley Sroka; uncle to multiple nieces and nephews.
Max graduate from West Allegheny High School and enrolled in the Army at the age of 19. He served in the Ordinance Division as an ammunitions and explosives expert and was based in Hamburg, Germany, for some time. After his discharge he continued in the reserves and was called up for duty during the Cuban Missile crisis. He was a steel worker and retired from Pittsburgh Forgings after 25 years of service. Edward was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, master woodworker, builder and handyman. Although a disabling accident limited his activities, he never lost his love for the outdoors, building and innovating.
Rest in peace, Dad – and we hope the sun is shining, the waves are calm, and the fish are biting.
