Dorothy J. "Dottie" (Coates) Hallum

Dorothy J. “Dottie” Hallum, age 90, of Coraopolis, PA, formerly of Hankey Farms, Oakdale, PA, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, June 18, 2025.  Dottie was born on March 11, 1935, in Imperial, PA, daughter to the late Freda (Matthis) and Joseph Coates; devoted wife of 69 years to Harold C. Hallum; beloved mother to the late Vicky (Ron) Faux who passed on January 1, 2024, and Kristie (Keith) Rapp; cherished grandmother to Mollie Rapp (Martin Keck), Melanie (Bruce) Bennett, Alicia (Jackson) Faux, Nathan (fiancé Morgan) Faux; adored great-grandmother to Camden, Auggie, and one more due in August; sister to the late Jean, Marion, Ethel, Leoda, Harry, Albert, David, Charles, and George.  Dottie was a former member of Resurrection Church, and may she now rest in peace.

Family to receive friends on Monday, June 23, 2025, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m., led by Pastor John Goebbel of West Ridge Church, at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M.
