Della M. (Borkoski) Bugay

"It's so much darker when a light goes out than it would have been if it had never shone."

Today our family lost the glue that holds us together.  Della M. Bugay, affectionately known as "Tootie", age 95, passed peacefully on Saturday morning, May 1, 2021.  A daughter of the late Freda (Krazewski) and Benjamin Borkoski; beloved wife of the late Lesko Bugay, who passed on September 12, 1994; devoted mother to Sandra (David) Kurtz, Tom (Susan) Bugay, and Shelly (Bob) Phillips; cherished grandmother of Brian (Traci) Kurtz, Brandi (Jason) Forsmark, and Stephanie Bugay; loved YaYa to Luke, Landon, and Olivia; sister of the late Victoria Nesbit, Edward Borkoski, Margaret Pavlich, and Dolly Allison; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and several special friends.

Della was loved by her family and friends.  She was kind, funny, and as sharp as they get!  She saw the best in people and never held a grudge.  She enjoyed going to Eat n Park every week, playing Bunco, her bowling league, Polkas and dancing, playing cards, and watching the Pittsburgh sports teams, especially the Steelers and Pirates.

Della loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.  Rest in Peace, Della.
