David John Egyed

David John Egyed, age 82, of North Fayette Township, Oakdale, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Paramount Senior Living of South Hills.  Dave was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on July 11, 1941, son to the late Julia (Mychalyshm) and David Egyed; devoted husband of 41 years to the late Irene (Szymanowicz) Egyed; beloved father to Mark Egyed and his wife, Melissa, and Scott Egyed and his wife, Melissa; cherished grandfather to Brennan, Christian, Harper, and Stephanie (L.S.); brother to June (Jack) Yuran, uncle to Julianne (John) McCord, Vicki (Deon) Strahan, and great uncle to Julia McCord (Manny Rummell), all of Cypress, TX.  Dave retired from the 99th Regional Support Command (ARCOM) as an Equipment Specialist.  Professional services provided by HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Rd., North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332.  Committal will take place at a later date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  Rest in peace, Dave.
