Daniel Cain Morgan, also known as ‘D-Nice,’ ‘D-Mo,’ ‘Uncle DD,’ ‘Schultzy,’ and ‘Uncle Schultzy,’ age 36, of North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, passed away tragically on May 6, 2026. Daniel’s memory is cherished by his parents, Katie Ann Cain Morgan, also known as ‘GaGa’ and ‘Kmo,’ and William Jerry Morgan, also known as ‘Pork’ and ‘Pappy Pork,’ his brother, Jerra Morgan, and his wife, Ashley, also known as ‘Ash Ash,’ and their children, Jordan Morgan, also known as ‘J Bird,’ and Deanna Morgan, also known as ‘Nan,’ grandmother, Ida Jean Cain Barr, also known as ‘Grandma Barr,’ and a multitude of extended family and friends.
Daniel was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 20, 1989. He was a dedicated employee with a conscientious work ethic when, at sixteen, he started his first jobs at Angelia’s Pizza in Imperial and Bavington Roadhouse in Burgettstown, where he met his first forever coworker friends. He continued in the restaurant service industry at Pepperoncini’s Pub in Oakdale, Mad Mex in Robinson Township, and Montana Jack in Big Sky, Montana.
Upon returning to Imperial, Daniel was employed with Integrated Contracting and Renovations until he was given the opportunity to learn his current trade in HVAC through Pittsburgh Comfort Tech Inc. He then made a full circle back to assist his first coworker and forever friend toss a few pies at Muns Pizza in Brighton Heights.
Daniel enjoyed life to the fullest from A-Z: camping, cooking, Civil War reenacting, dancing, drumming, fishing, hiking, history, movies, music, skiing, Tang Soo Do, and last minute road trips to see a festival, to see a friend, or to sample a new beer. He was most at home on the white water and referred to himself and his water friends as River Rats. Daniel was eclectic in all things. He was an instant and everlasting friend. He was kind, intelligent, compassionate, and most of all, fun. Daniel loved with his entire being, and he will be greatly missed. His family will carry Daniel in their hearts.
