Cynthia M. Hohn, age 86, of North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 20, 1939, in Sewickley, PA, daughter to the late Mary E. (Ceyrolles) and Charles F. Hohn. Cynthia is survived by numerous cousins.
After high school, Cynthia completed several secretarial courses which prepared her for her early career. She briefly worked for the County of Allegheny as a clerk-typist before leaving to become secretary to Robert “Wimpy” Little, District Magistrate, in Imperial. Cynthia later put her career on hold to care for her mother when her health declined and eventually devoted herself to caring for her father as well, all at the family home in Imperial.
After the passing of her parents, Cynthia returned to the workforce, joining the housekeeping staff at the Airport Marriott Hotel. She dedicated over ten years to her work there and retired at the age of 65.
In accordance with Cynthia’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Inurnment will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Cemetery.
