Charles F. "Chuckie" Lutz

Charles F. "Chuckie” Lutz Jr., age 72, of Oakdale, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 28, 2024, at St. Clair Hospital. Preceded in death by his parents Bud and Vi (Schucht) Lutz and his sisters JoAnn Lutz and LuAnn Lutz; loving father to Tiffany (Scott) Klobchar and Stacy Watters; beloved brother of Ronnie (Victoria) Lutz and Bob Lutz; proud boyfriend of Carol Stenzel. Chuckie's pride and joy were his grandkids: Jordan, Sydney Jo, Ty, Pressli, Gracie Jo, and Cam. He loved his nieces and nephews: Chris (Courtney) Morosetti, Bill Morosetti, Melissa (Justin) Flook, Hannah (RJ) DeShantz, Bob (Loni) Lutz, Tony (Annette) Lutz, Sam (Jaime) Chauvet, and Michelle Lutz. Chuckie also had many great nieces and nephews that he loved very much.

Chuckie graduated from West Allegheny High School in 1969 where he was a standout football player and wrestler. He worked for the North Fayette Township road crew for almost 30 years and retired in November 2023. His co-workers became lifelong friends. Chuckie was the hardest working and most honest man you’d ever come across, and he always put himself last. His purpose in life was to take care of everyone that he loved and cared about.

A memorial gathering will be held at the HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, 724-695-7332, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 2 – 5 p.m. with a funeral service at 5 p.m. followed by a reception at the SNPJ Lodge #106, 255 West Allegheny Road, Imperial, PA, 15126.
