Catherine "Cookie" "GiGi" M. (Carr) Peck

Catherine M. Peck, age 73, of Findlay Township, Imperial, Pa., passed on Tuesday evening February 15, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. A daughter of the late Helen (Skvarj) and John Carr. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Peck who passed on May 13, 2011. Cherished mother of 3 daughters the late Jacqueline Anderson, who passed on July 30, 2017, the late Terri Peck, who passed on  April 3, 2019, and infant Kimberly Peck. Adored grandmother of Brittany (Jonathan) Welsh, Megan (Thomas) Schwarzl, Bernard Anderson, Trent Cope, and Nichole Cope. Proud great-grandmother of Emery Welsh, Jemma Welsh, and Thomas "TJ" Schwarzl, Jr., Sister of John (Charlee) Carr, Michael (LuAnn) Carr, and the late Richard Carr. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, close friends and neighbors.

Catherine (Cookie/ GiGi) Peck was a loving, family oriented woman. Throughout her life she always enjoyed to travel. Whether it be spontaneous trips to the beach or Disney, day trips with the grandchildren, or cross country trips with friends, she enjoyed exploring new places and making memories along the way. This gave her many great memories and stories to share along the way. Her family was the light of her life. It would be inevitable that if you had a conversation with her that she would talk about her grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren and more than likely she would be showing you pictures as well. She was so proud to be a great grandma that she made sure that everyone knew it and even had everyone calling her "GiGi". She took care of so many and was a strong support for all she met. She taught her family the true meaning of strength and love. She will be greatly missed.
