Carol E. Halbedl

Age 87, of Imperial, PA, Findlay Township, passed on Sunday, November 1, 2020.  Husband of Nancy Halbedl and the late Carol A. (Debold) Halbedl.  Father of Dennis (Jody) Halbedl, Kurt (Brenda Jones) Halbedl, Ruth (the late Red) Miley, Chris Halbedl and Eric Halbedl, and the late infant Joseph Halbedl.  Pap-pap to Nickolas, Joshua, Jade, Lydia, Kate and Derek.  Brother of the late Joseph Halbedl.

Carol, along with his wife Carol, founded Imperial Heights Garage on Stark Avenue in Imperial in 1965.  He was one of the original park board members for Findlay Township.  He was an auto racing enthusiast, car builder and owner and had been inducted into the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club Hall of Fame.  Upon retiring from the garage, he drove  a school bus for the West Allegheny School District.  He farmed in his" back 40"and enjoyed gardening, going to Rogers Flea Market ,country, bluegrass music and dancing.  He loved going to PPMS to watch stock car racing.
