Brenen T. Martonik, age 33, of Coraopolis, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was born in McKees Rocks on October 11, 1992, son to the late Susan C. (Brennen) and Thomas J. Martonik. Brenen was the beloved husband of six years to Michaliah (Koehnlein) Martonik whom he married on August 10, 2019. Together they shared a life full of love and laughter, and proudly adopted their fur baby, Duke, on October 6, 2023. Along with his wife, Brenen is survived by his father, Tom Martonik (Leslie); sister, Lauren Martonik; grandmother, Nancy Brennen; aunt, Fran (Terry); aunt,Maryanne, uncles, Dave and Dan; many loving cousins. In addition to his mother, Brenen is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ceil Martonik, and his grandfather, Jack Brennen.
Brenen’s favorite activity was golfing with his friends, especially through their YGL golf league, and he also cherished the camaraderie of their fantasy football league. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and greatly enjoyed attending games.
Brenen will be deeply missed and forever loved by all those who knew him.
Family to receive friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, between the hours of 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at HERRICK COMPASSIONATE FUNERAL SERVICE, PC, Edward M. Herrick, Supervisor/Owner, 951 Cliff Mine Road, North Fayette Township, Imperial, PA, (724) 695-7332. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Isidore the Farmer Parish at St. Columbkille R. C. Church, followed by Inurnment at St. Columbkille Cemetery at a later date.
