Alice M. Davis, age 97, of Findlay Township, Imperial, PA, passed peacefully at home on Friday evening, December 13, 2024. Alice was born in Oakdale, PA, on September 30, 1927, daughter to the late Mary (Oswald) and Matt Pangersis; devoted wife of 69 years to the late Robert J. Davis who passed on February 17, 2021; beloved mother to Marianne (Randall) Reynolds, Terry (William) Peterson, and Amy (Bucky) Savatt; adored grandmother of eight; cherished great-grandmother of ten; dear sister to Anne Weithorn and sister-in-law to Arlene Pangersis; preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Pangersis, and great-granddaughter, Bea; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Alice lived out her faith as she tangibly and humbly served her family, church, and community for all of her days. She treasured fostering a love of reading with her grandchildren after working to support readers at West Allegheny Middle School. Alice enjoyed quilting with her friends and keeping us all warm with her knitting. She was a longstanding member at Valley Presbyterian Church where she served as a deacon, elder, and member of the sewing group. Alice was a proud member of SNPJ Lodge #106 where she served as one of the original kitchen ladies. She will be remembered this Christmas and at every holiday as her children and grandchildren gather to bake apple pies and pecan tassies in her memory. Rest in peace, Alice.
